What is it?

In the United States legal studies are seen as some of the most popular majors ever with many different applications of jobs in the field of study. You will learn what it takes to go through the legal process from front to back, how does a criminal prosecution work, what do you need to prove guilt or innocence, what tools do you need in order to become a practitioner of law, these are all things you will learn when studying here and abroad.

There are many positions to get after studying and obtaining your degree in law but that will all depend on the type you received and the position you’re looking to take while in the field. Not every law position requires that you be at the top billing of every job you want, sometimes you can go for the smaller fish in a big pot, in which case you will receive a varying amount of training for whatever the position may be.

Degrees

There are very few law accredited degrees available so many of you will have to go back to the conventional way of doing things if you intend to hold a job in this field. But the degrees will range from a bachelor’s degree all the way to a master’s degree within the allotted specialized time frame of schooling. But the only one of real significance in this branch of study is the bachelor’s degree.

Bachelor of business administration

If you have no desire to be a lawyer, that’s no problem you can obtain a BBA and get a job as a legal representative for business, insurance agencies, real estate and the government. None of these require that you be a lawyer in order to practice law. The courses required for this degree are law basics, the legal system, law research, law writing, procedure and practice of Civil Law, Laws of property and real estate, all the way into politics after you pass those courses you will have a better understanding of law and a better understanding of how to write it out with very little need for research.

  • District Attorney- You are the D.A. you are the one in control of your city’s legal district, you will aid in the prosecution or defense of a person or people in the city who live off of corruption. Often times these people can be politicians but other times it could be someone like “big-shot” criminals who manage to pay off a lot of their crimes. As the D.A. it’s your job to find evidence to clean your sector’s streets up of the criminal gunk left behind.
